We conduct your clinical trial just as you would

At CCA, we specialise in the management and monitoring of first in-man, proof of concept and early phase clinical trials for therapeutic drugs for the treatment of neuro-muscular conditions such as ALS/Lou Gehrig’s Disease and Huntingdon’s. Founded in 1988 in Cobham, Surrey, UK, we have considerable expertise in rare diseases, neo-natal conditions and issues affecting the metabolic or endocrine systems.

We also have an area of expertise in managing all aspects of medical device studies.

psnlogoCCA Clinical Research is co-owner of PSNResearch, an independent clinical research organisation with members across Europe and the US and we have been working with US sponsors since the late ’90s.

In addition to our own in-house team of Clinical Research Associates, we have an established network of clinical research experts in the UK and across Europe, meaning that sponsors who work with us can really get to know our team and build a relationship with us. CCA offers:-

  • Specialism in managing proof of concept and early-stage clinical trials
  • Proven expertise in neuro-muscular, endocrinal and rare diseases
  • An established network of clinical research experts in the UK and across Europe
  • Strong relationships with chief investigators, professors, key opinion-leaders and sites
  • Rapid regulatory submission
  • Continuity of staff with high levels of expertise
  • Access to the UK’s world-class trial sites and favourable regulatory environment
  • Over 18 years’ experience of working with US sponsors
  • Access to European sites through our co-ownership of PSNResearch, a pan-European independent clinical research organisation
  • A convenient location 30 mins from London Heathrow Airport and central London.

Trusted by chief investigators at leading UK sites, our knowledge and understanding of the UK and European regulatory environment and processes means that the trials we manage are free from the delays, impediments and duplication of effort that can be associated with multi-site projects.
